I'm Cameron, 20, and feeling in a bit of a crisis. I never realized that I was a minority until I got to this white-bread college that claims to be "diverse". What a joke. I feel more at home lost in San Francisco than here. At the same time I am somewhat proud of who I am, and I hope that I can somehow get into grad school and do something with my life.
And in case you were wondering, I'm mostly Hispanic, transgender, gay, linguistic anthropology-oriented, and trying to convert to Judaism (which has been impeded by not having a car at the moment). And I have a good sense of smell. Not that that makes me a minority, but I am proud of my nose. Hehe.
